Little did we know how unique and amazing our villa in Patmos would be when booking from U.S. My husband and I have never experiences authentic love and generosity in our travels. Magnifique endroit au repos et sérénité de chaque jour nous ont parmis de nous revisiter. La gentillese de ces habitants et leurs accueil nous donne envie de revenir. La visite de lieux saints nous ont touché.

My wife and I stayed at Porto Scoutari for four nights and it was wonderful. The service was outstanding and the people very friendly. The view was so beautiful and the room extremely large for an island hotel. The island has so much Christian history and being an Orthodox Christian just added to the experience. It was so nice to be on such a beutiful island and the Porto Soutari only added to the experience. My wife and I stayed at Porto Scoutari for four nights and it was wonderful. We have had one of the most restful holidays that we have ever had. The Porto Scoutari Hotel is beautifully sitauated, decorated, and appointed; and is run to extremely high standards. We have particularly enjoyed quiet days by the pool with its stunning views to the old town and to the sea. We have visited many Greek Islands over the years, and although Patmos does not have the archaeological sites that we like to visit, it is a very interesting and attractive island. It’s a fantastic place! It combines the beauty of the Ancient Greece, of the religious side and a great relaxation place. The accommodation services are excellent and the people very pleasant. It’s a definite destination for our friends. We intend to recommend the Porto Scoutari.

A note to North Americans – it is custom on the island to use solar power to heat the water, so morning showers can be rather cold. Just think of it as getting into the local culture.
