My wife and I stayed at Porto Scoutari for four nights and it was wonderful. The service was outstanding and the people very friendly. The view was so beautiful and the room extremely large for an island hotel. The island has so much Christian history and being an Orthodox Christian just added to the experience. It was so nice to be on such a beutiful island and the Porto Soutari only added to the experience. My wife and I stayed at Porto Scoutari for four nights and it was wonderful. We have loved our week at Porto Scoutari. The room was wonderful; it has all the conveniences: a shower with a glass door; a phone in the bathroom, a hair dryer on the wall. The room was spacious, too. The view from the large balcony was spectacular. We spent many happy hours just sitting there, reading, glorying in the vista including two coves, and white houses dotting the hillsides, plus a herd of goats grazing. Most important, every single person was delightful to deal with: friendly, patient, full of useful information. Mrs. Scoutari is so delightful to talk to, we felt we’d known her forever. Little did we know how unique and amazing our villa in Patmos would be when booking from U.S. My husband and I have never experiences authentic love and generosity in our travels. Our villa is clean, comfortable, quaint, lovely, beautiful. What else can I say? As we arrived late at night, there was our own Alexander to greet us and take us to our home. Breakfast… ummm… Yum!! We love Porto Scoutari Hotel the most out of all the hotels on the island of Patmos. The hotel itself is very beautiful, it is authentically decorated in Greek island style and the atmosphere is wonderfully romantic. Patmos Island has to be the best island in the world.
